Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for website features and functionality.
Perform manual and automated testing to ensure the website meets specified requirements.
Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and issues through their lifecycle.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility for website features.
Validate content, layout, and functionality across various screen sizes and resolutions.
Conduct performance and load testing to ensure website stability under different conditions.
Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and other quality-related activities.
Provide clear and concise reports on testing activities, results, and issues.
Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Website Quality Assurance (QA) Tester to join our team. The QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our website, making sure it meets the highest standards before going live. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with developers and designers.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a QA Tester, preferably with a focus on websites and web applications.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in using bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes is a plus.
